This post will be about my blog design:
I have recently made some changes to my blog design! If you have been reading for a while you will know that it has happened quite a few times over the years. This time however i am sticking to the current design for the next year...
Today i got a comment from a girl:
Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog
shine. Please let me know where you got your design. Thanks
That comment will be the basis for this post.
Lets start at the top:
Heading: copy/paste job done in Picnic, and then uploaded to the blog - very easy.
Social Media: I have integrated Twitter/Facebook sharing widgets into every post by adding it to the HTML code of the entire page/template.
Search for the post footer/post header part of the template...if you need more help let me know...
Facebbok is added to the sidebar only to show people that there are more ways to follow..
Color : I use pink as a link/header color as it seems to look the best on the page...i do not know why...but it seems to work the best...
Pages on top: On top you will find individual pages/or pages linked to other posts on the site, and to me it looks the most organized.
In the sidebar:
I try to not pile on widgets that have no value...so the once i have added show traffic, and places my blog have been registered...
Furthermore i have tried to make my blog user friendly, and not hard to load.
I try to keep my sidebars as current as possible, and do not wish for old content to be shown here.
Linkwithin: Is called: https://partners.nrelate.com. I pulls old posts , and it makes it easier for people to find older posts that they may like. Once added you will need two hours for the widget to work properly.
I think that was it.
Hope that helped, and if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me:)
