Goodmorning:)
People!
I said updates were coming up, and this is one of them.
Saturday was the big "walking day", and with that a lot of original content for you guys....
I drink a lot of coffee/tea so this guide will absolutely get bigger with time....
This coffee shop is pretty small from what i remember - but they have the nicest lunch menu- coffee menu:)
Probably all the regulars: Mocha - Cappuccino- Latte and so one....
Think the prize is the same as with any other café, approx 40 kr....i can not be absolutely sure...
So anyone is more then welcome to correct me if i am wrong...
Bottom line is this: It is well worth a trip.
The good part is...this café is very close to the big museums-and Akershus castle....
Have a nice tourist day in Oslo, if you ever visit:) WELCOME....
p:s again - Thank you Elle for the award:)
SoulPrincess: Springbok - South African coffee shop in Oslo.
Hi guys:)
So i said in an earlier post that Saturday was spent walking around Oslo taking photos for the blogg.
With all the walking i do, the pounds are starting to come off...but that´s another story...
By the way a gym update will be coming up later tonight...
So anyway ....
...as i was walking around our lovely capitol i came a cross this fantastic new bar.
It is called Springbok as you san see from the sign...
It is situated on the ground floor of "House of Oslo"
- one of the biggest shopping malls - near Aker Brygge...there are a lot of high end stores here...mostly all things you need for the home:)
Springbok´s business idea is this: everything expect the coffee imported comes from South Africa(South Africa don´t make coffee).. i did not taste the food...but the guy from Senegal (the same guy as in the poster)makes a wonderful Mocha...is that with two cc?
32 kr
There are many reasons why i liked the coffee shop...
1. oki service - a bit disorganized ....
2. Wonderful guys working...one was from Senegal/South Africa and the last one i think was from England...sorry i can´t for the life of me remember there names...i am sure it will come to me....
3. The last and best thing about this place was the live music...
There was a jazz band playing with an amazing guy on Saxofone.
His name is Jason, and he is originally from Texas...

Here is his Facebook profile were you also can see videos of the man playing...
His new album is coming out soon, and it is called "JUST BECUZ" so be sure to check it out:)
Have a good day everyone...
